As a 7 strong consortium, Power-to-Methanol Antwerp plans to produce methanol from captured carbon dioxide and green hydrogen. The site will be based at Innovyn’s chemical manufacturing complex in Lillo and will produce 8000 tonnes per annum of methanol. The methanol will initially be used by chemical companies in the region with potential for wider use as production scale increases.
