In addition to the Power2X project, Madoqua Renewables also intend to build a large-scale industrial plant for the production of synthetic fuels to aid decarbonisation of hard-to-abate sectors such as the cement industry. The plant will have a capacity of 250 MW, equating to 180,000 tonnes per year of synthetic fuels and 350,000 tonnes of abated CO2.
