Norcem plans to build and operate a CO2 capture facility at their cement plant in Brevik and have awarded the EPC contract to Aker Solutions. The facility will utilise residual heat from the cement production in the capture process. This project is part of the Norweigan’s government’s Langskip project and the CO2 produced will be shipped to the Northern Lights facility for storage.
