CF Industries and JERA have announced plans to explore the development of greenfield low-carbon ammonia production capacity at CF Industries’ Blue Point Complex in Louisiana, with a capacity of 1.4 million metric tonnes of ammonia. JERA and CF Industries aim to reach a final investment decision on the proposed project before the end of 2025, to commence production in 2028.
