8 Rivers is developing Cormorant Clean Energy, an ultra-low-carbon ammonia production facility located on the Gulf Coast of the United States. Coupling innovation with industry-proven process equipment, Cormorant Clean Energy will be the first commercial-scale deployment of 8 Rivers’ proprietary 8RH2 technology. Cormorant Clean Energy will produce an estimated 880,000 tonnes of ammonia and capture 1,400,000+ Tonnes of CO2 annually, with a >99% CO2 capture rate.
