The Limestone Calcined Clay Cement Production project was selected by the U.S. Department of Energy Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations to begin award negotiations for up to $61.7 million in Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and Inflation Reduction Act funding, as part of the Industrial Demonstrations Program. The project plans to demonstrate the ability to utilize a widely available clay types to minimize the most carbon-intensive component in cement.
