Carbon Upcycling Technologies (CUT) and LafargeHolcim will collaborate to deploy a 100 tonnes/day commercial reactor at Lafarge’s Sundance Landfill Fly Ash Beneficiation Plant. The CUT reactor will be fully integrated on the material level and directly connected to the flue-gas stack for a continuous supply of CO2. The proposed commercial-scale installation of CUT’s technology will directly sequester 22,500 tonnes of CO2 and abate over 250K tonnes of CO2 on a lifecycle basis through clinker displacement over a 10-year span.
