Upcoming Events

The Decarb Connect Global Festival brings together global leaders tasked with decarbonisation in energy-intensive industries such as steel, chemicals, power, cement and oil & gas for three days of open and engaging discussions.

Kick off with two days’ of in-person discussions in central London, with the additional option of site visits* to the South Wales Industrial Cluster and Drax Power Station on January 27. For those looking to attend as virtual guests, there’s a full day of digital content on January 27th plus key sessions from the whole event will be live streamed. Ideal for those attendees logging in from around the world.

The seniority of participants necessitates an event structure focused around peer-to-peer discussions. Over 50 industry leaders are ready to share experiences and insights through panel discussions and a series of private discussion roundtables. We keep discussion at the forefront and ensure a noticeable absence of powerpoint presentations and sales pitches.

Key highlights:

  • Take your seat alongside 50+ senior industry speakers and 200+ in-person participants: Enough to make valuable new connections, not so many that induces post-Covid social anxiety
  • Take an active role in driving discussions relevant to you: With 11 interactive panel discussions and 20 private discussion roundtables, discussions are spontaneous and inclusive of audience, not preset and formulaic
  • Benchmark strategies with industry at the centre of the decarbonisation challenge: Our conferences are largely comprised of those leaders tasked with decarbonisation in the heavy manufacturing and energy intensive industries
  • Enjoy additional networking opportunities such as the evening networking reception and use the virtual event platform to arrange meetings with new contacts

WEBINAR: Keeping kiln carbon footprints low while maximising quality, throughput and energy efficiency

Cement manufacturers face regular production losses due to inefficiencies in their production process – like kiln throughput, cement or clinker quality, ammonia cost optimization and energy inefficiencies to name just a few. At the same time they also grapple with another, related challenge: reducing their carbon footprint, specifically regarding NOx and CO2 emissions. Stabilizing and optimizing the kiln is often key to reducing these inefficiencies, but with so many variables it’s a constant juggling act.
