Air Liquide acquired the H2V Normandy project in 2021 as plan to build out 200 MW of electrolyser capacity to produce green hydrogen for industrial and heavy-duty mobility applications. Upon the acquisition, Air Liquide will now lead the large-scale proton-exchange membrane (PEM) electrolyser project, which will be connected to a hydrogen pipeline and contribute to a low-carbon hydrogen network in the region.
