Project Nujio’qonik plans to develop 4 GW of renewable electricity through wind projects on the west coast of the island of Newfoundland. It will also build a green hydrogen and ammonia production facility in the town of Stephenville, NL. The 4 GW of wind farms will produce approximately 280,000 tonnes per year of green hydrogen (1.6 million tonnes of green ammonia). There is potential for expansion of both the wind and hydrogen capacity in the future.
