One of the first projects of its kind in the world, Broadwing would represent more than a half-billion-dollar investment into Central Illinois, building on the existing carbon storage facility at Decatur. It will generate 280 MW of clean power and it has been agreed in principle to be located next to ADM’s processing complex. Similarly to 8 Rivers other power projects, it will utilise NET Power’s system design.
