Decarb Catalyst | 21-23 February 2023 | London, UK

Hard-to-abate industrials, policy makers, tech companies, energy and other solutions providers will meet in London in February for the Decarb Catalyst conference.

Over two days of in-person panel discussions and private discussion roundtables, participants will explore the status of delivering on decarbonisation pathways to 2025 in an energy critical climate including these key questions:

  • What can and is being deployed right here right now?
  • Are energy prices expediting or relegating decarbonisation initiatives?

2022 has seen a major shift in landscape with heavy emitters, already used to operating in tight margins, in many cases having to increase energy spend threefold or more. This has the potential to change everything in terms of short term decarbonisation goals.

The Decarb Catalyst conference will explore the changed landscape for industrial decarbonisation initiatives and in what ways energy prices are catalysing or remodelling pathways to 2025 to 2030.

Key questions driving the discussion:

  • What policy measures are being put in place to support industry and are they working?
  • How many plants are being shut down and what is the cost of ‘doing nothing’ in the current environment?
  • How to set clear and defined standards for the green premium and who should be responsible?
  • New accreditation systems – How are we measuring ‘what is being done now’ rather than ‘end goal’?
  • What is known about the economics of CO2 capture at different concentration levels?
  • Permission to fail –How to liberate the huge sums of capital that are floating around?

Whether you are an industrial emitter actively pursuing a decarbonisation pathway, or part of the support network, Decarb Catalyst is the only place to meet the decision-makers and influencers of all the key stakeholders.
